Intercity Relocation Services

Moving to another city is a different job from moving across town. Your home spends hours on a motorway, the crew cannot pop back for something forgotten, and you may reach the new city before or after the truck does. We plan intercity moves route by route, pack for the road, number every item and deliver door to door between Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities in Pakistan.

Covered moving truck on the motorway during an intercity move

The Short Answer

Our intercity relocation service covers long-distance packing, a numbered inventory, loading into a covered truck, door-to-door transport and unloading, unpacking and furniture assembly at your new home. The quote depends on the route, the volume of goods and whether you choose a dedicated truck or shared space.

What to Expect on the Main Routes

Distances are approximate and depend on the exact pickup and drop-off points.

Karachi ⇄ Lahore≈ 1,200 km

Main road: Karachi–Hyderabad motorway (M-9), the national highway through Sindh and the Sukkur–Multan motorway (M-5) into Punjab

Plan for: Summer heat across Sindh, so electronics are sealed and shaded, and a long day on the road for the truck.

Karachi ⇄ Islamabad / Rawalpindi≈ 1,400 km

Main road: The Karachi–Lahore corridor, then the Lahore–Islamabad motorway (M-2)

Plan for: The longest common route: stronger packing for stacking and vibration, and a buffer day in your plans.

Lahore ⇄ Islamabad / Rawalpindi≈ 375 km

Main road: Lahore–Islamabad motorway (M-2) through the Salt Range

Plan for: The climb through the Salt Range, and dense fog in December and January that can close the motorway.

Islamabad ⇄ Peshawar≈ 180 km

Main road: Islamabad–Peshawar motorway (M-1)

Plan for: A shorter run that can often be loaded and delivered in one long day.

Lahore ⇄ Multan≈ 350 km

Main road: The Lahore–Multan motorway

Plan for: Heat in southern Punjab in summer; start loading early.

Built for the Long Road

What Changes When the Move Is Long-Distance

  • Stronger packing: double-wall cartons and extra layers, because boxes are stacked high for hours.
  • Numbered inventory: every carton and piece is numbered and listed before the truck leaves.
  • Furniture fully wrapped: stretch film, blankets and corner guards on all wooden pieces.
  • Upright electronics: TVs and AC outdoor units travel standing and strapped.
  • Loading order: heavy pieces first and fragile cartons on top, secured so nothing slides.

FAQs

Intercity Relocation FAQs

Your goods spend hours or days on the road, so packing is stronger, every item is numbered on an inventory, and the truck runs to your new address without unloading in between when you book a dedicated vehicle.

For a full house we recommend a dedicated covered truck that carries only your goods. Shared space can suit a few items, but it takes longer and your goods are handled more. Ask which one your quote includes.

Every box and piece of furniture is numbered and listed before loading. At delivery you tick each number off the list and check fragile items before the crew leaves.

Yes, you or someone you trust should be there to receive the goods, check the inventory and show the crew where things go. Share the exact location pin with us in advance.

The distance, the volume of goods, packing, the type of truck and access at both homes. Long routes like Karachi to Islamabad cost more than shorter ones like Lahore to Islamabad.

We are based around Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi and move homes between them and to other cities in Pakistan. Send your route on WhatsApp to check.
